We are seeking a full-time Private Boutique Atelier Assistant to join a discreet, craft-led atelier and private showroom. We are looking for someone who is available to start immediately.
This is a graduate-level position intended for someone at the beginning of their career who is ready to enter a professional, detail-driven environment centred on bespoke garment making.
The Environment
The studio operates as a private boutique and atelier in Chelsea, offering a calm, focused, and highly personalised experience. Each garment is developed with care and precision for private clients, within a setting defined by discretion, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
The Role
You will be trained to take responsibility for the boutique while supporting the day-to-day activity of the atelier. This role requires someone who is able to balance private client interaction with practical involvement in the making process, and to contribute to the overall functioning of a small, specialised team. You will work in close proximity to the creation of garments from concept to completion, assisting where needed and participating in fittings. You will be expected to develop a clear understanding of the bespoke process, materials, and standards of work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
