BeyondTrust SME (Privileged Access Management)

Location: Manchester On-site, 5 days a week

Duration: 3 months

Umbrella Rate: £500.00

Our client is hiring for a reputable organisation to support the transition and ongoing operation of a Privileged Access Management (PAM) service. We are looking for two experienced BeyondTrust SMEs to join the team in Manchester, providing hands-on administration, support, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer activities across the BeyondTrust platform.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Administer and support the BeyondTrust PAM platform, ensuring secure privileged access management.
  • Support knowledge transfer sessions and review documentation during transition phases.
  • Manage privileged access policies, user controls, and security configurations.
  • Collaborate with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID for authentication, authorisation, and group management.
  • Configure integrations with identity services such as SAML, MFA, and directory services.
  • Troubleshoot operational incidents, support service requests, and resolve platform issues.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding privileged users and accounts.
  • Support policy management and Group Policy configurations.
  • Participate in hypercare activities during service stabilisation.
  • Produce technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, security, and service teams to ensure compliance and continuity.

What You'll Bring

  • Practical experience supporting and administering BeyondTrust (Password Safe, PRA, EPM).
  • Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management concepts and best practices.
  • Active Directory administration expertise and experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Knowledge of SAML, SSO, MFA, and RBAC.
  • Proven troubleshooting and documentation skills in a secure enterprise environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt, absorb knowledge, and support transition activities.

Desirable

  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments.
  • Exposure to service transition, knowledge transfer, and hypercare.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and operational support models.

Candidate Profile

A hands-on engineer capable of supporting and maintaining BeyondTrust environments, supporting transition activities, and providing ongoing operational expertise.

Note: Candidates must be eligible for BPSS clearance.
