About the Role
This is a Permanent Senior Care Assistant position within Band 4 on the Pay Scale (£27,485 - £30,162). This role offers significant responsibility in supporting individuals requiring specialist care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to service users, including toileting, bathing, and dressing.
- Monitor and record service user health and wellbeing.
- Ensure dignity, autonomy, and safety for all service users.
- Work flexibly alongside a team to meet shifting care demands.
- Follow HSC Trust safety procedures and contribute to care planning reviews.
Requirements
- A caring, empathetic attitude towards individuals with complex needs.
- Proven experience as a Care Assistant or similar level within the social care sector.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written).
- Willingness to adapt to the needs of a designated patient group, including those with disabilities or sensitivities.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as required (depending on service unit needs).
