About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide holistic maternal and infant care as a senior midwife within the Royal Jubilee Maternity Hospital – focused on antenuatal, birth, postnatal, and neonatal support.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-professional team, ensuring cohesive delivery of safe mother-baby practice in line with national and local directives (e.g., Care of Carbonel Women and their Babies Summary Toolkit (COWS)).
- Engage in clinical audits, service improvement (e.g., perinatal health reviews), and the fulfilment of benchmark criteria for maternity outcomes.
- Reflective practice is expected term—documentation and participation in rider sessions.
- Contribute to miscarriage services, including limited IVF/Medical Aid to Conception (FET) oversight.
- Responsive crisis care, including management of involuntory health guardianship (IHG) assessments and the application of specific antimicrobial protocols.

Requirements
- Be a registered midwife with NMC status (or eligible for registration pending).
- Video, Document, and Data Security Compliance: Avoid uploading files of personal sensitive data in applications.
- Flexibility: Willingness to participate in on-call or shift work, where required.
- Emergency/Grace readiness for critical scenarios, including out-of-hours emergencies.
