About the Role
The joins the maintaining the infrastructure and assets across Belfast Health and Social Care Trust (BHSCT).
This critical role is based at Old Seed House in the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. In this permanent position, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the Service’s built environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Building Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure buildings and facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational.
- Trades Administration: Perform basic tasks such as painting, plastering, electricity, plumbing, and general building repairs ensuring national, health and safety, and environmental legislation are adhered to at all times.
- Stock Ordering: January, safety equipment inventory and ordering as required.
- Gold Standard for Energy Saving: Support the Trust’s commitment to achieving a gold standard for energy saving and improve health and care environments by minimising energy consumption.
- Pandemic Recovery: In alignment with P4 Health’s recovery plan, support the decontamination and refurbishment projects of care homes and hospital wards used in the pandemic.
