Main Purpose of the Job
Lead the planning and delivery of data-driven initiatives across the organisation. Support and improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting processes.
Support the IT team to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
Main Duties
- Support the delivery of data initiatives, including reporting, process improvements, and system enhancements.
- Coordinate work across teams, ensuring clear communication between technical and non-technical staff.
- Translate business needs into clear data and system requirements.
- Support and improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting processes.
- Provide day-to-day IT support across office and warehouse teams.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards.
- Work with MSSQL data sources.
- Help automate business reporting and improve data quality.

Collaborate with the Head of IT to gain understanding of existing systems and infrastructure:
- Actively engage in training and knowledge transfer with the Head of IT on:
- In-house systems development and management.
- Existing data structures and workflows.
- Hardware and infrastructure used within the organisation.
- Develop a strong understanding of both software and hardware environments to support ongoing projects and future improvements.

- Support and improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting processes and provide holiday cover and additional support to Head of IT.

Essential
- IT support experience (1st/2nd line)
- Strong MSSQL Server and Power BI skills
- Confident working with users and stakeholders
- Organised, proactive, and adaptable
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn and develop understanding of technical systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Exposure to data tools (e.g., Excel, MSSQL, Power BI, or similar).
- Experience working across cross-functional teams.
- Interest in developing broader technical knowledge.
Desirable (training will be provided)
- Manufacturing and/or Timber industry knowledge
