About the Role
THG is investing in standardising and enhancing its reporting capability across both divisions. As BI Analyst (Nutrition), you’ll specialise in building and maintaining Tableau dashboards for THG’s Sports Nutrition business.
Reporting to the Reporting Lead, you’ll:
- Own the full Nutrition reporting estate: Develop, maintain, and evolve dashboards covering trading, marketing, customer metrics, and operational KPIs.
- Work alongside the Beauty BI Analyst to ensure cross-division consistency where applicable.
- Collaborate closely with the Nutrition Data & Insight team to meet their analytical needs.
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development & Maintenance
- Build, maintain, and evolve Tableau dashboards covering:
- Trading performance
- Marketing analytics
- Customer behaviour
- Operational KPIs
- Ensure accuracy, documentation, and adherence to Reporting Lead standards
- Address stakeholder requests by translating needs into clean, efficient Tableau workbooks
- Proactively update dashboards, detect data inconsistencies, and resolve issues

Consistency & Standards
- Apply unified naming conventions, metrics, and design rules across Nutrition dashboards
- Ensure alignment with the Beauty BI Analyst where shared metrics exist
- Identify redundancy/duplication in reporting and propose rationalisation solutions
Data & Technical
-Sophisticated SQL & BigQuery to fuel Tableau dashboards autonomously -Work with Nucleus technical and data teams to optimise data reliability -Support BigQuery migration of existing Tableau reports
Stakeholder Collaboration
-Build rapport with Nutrition Data & Insight—typically 5–10 requests/month per workbook -Manage expectations through clearer roadmaps and proactive issue escalation
Requirements
Essential
✅ Proficient in Tableau – Self-sufficient in building custom dashboards (calculated fields, LODs, optimisation) ✅ SQL competency – Extracting/transforming data for Tableau use ✅ Attention to detail – Unerring accuracy matters—meticulous troubleshooting ✅ Clear communicator – Bringing stakeholders’ needs to life in reporting ✅ Reliable organisation – Strict upkeep of dashboard integrity
Nice to Have
- Experience with Looker or alternative BI tools
- BigQuery familiarity (or similarly advanced cloud/data platforms)
- Knowledge of e-commerce/enhanced metrics (sports nutrition well-being)
- Tableau Server/Cloud administration background
