Extraordinary bicycles are built by extraordinary people.
Every J.Laverack bicycle begins with someone trusting us to build the bicycle they've always imagined.
Our responsibility is simple: to make sure reality exceeds that vision.
For over a decade, we've refined and developed our range of bespoke titanium bicycles, each one handcrafted to the highest standards of British design, engineering, and craftsmanship.
As our reputation continues to grow around the world, we're looking for a Bike Mechanic who shares our passion for precision, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement.
Who we're looking for
- You care about the details.
- You take pride in doing things properly.
- You're naturally curious.
- You believe the smallest details are often the most important.
- And you understand that craftsmanship isn't something you switch on.
Previous workshop experience is valuable, and a Cytech qualification is an advantage.
If you have the attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn, we'll invest in helping you become one of the industry's finest mechanics.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
