Role Description
The Bid Administrator is a full-time hybrid role based in either London, Birmingham or Sidcup, with flexibility for some work from home. This role supports the bid and proposals function by coordinating tender documentation, maintaining bid libraries, and assisting with the preparation of high-quality submissions.

Day-to-Day Tasks
- Gathering and formatting information from internal stakeholders
- Updating standard templates
- Tracking bid deadlines
- Ensuring compliance with client and framework requirements
- Managing version control
- Supporting document editing and proofing
- Assisting with uploading and submitting bids through online portals
- Maintaining accurate records of bids
- Contributing to continuous improvement of bid processes
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
Qualifications
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, including scheduling, document management, and deadline tracking.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience in editing, formatting, and proofreading professional documents.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort working with online portals and shared drives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders at different levels.
- Attention to detail, accuracy in data handling, and a methodical approach to following bid and compliance processes.
- Previous experience in bids, proposals, or professional services administration is desirable but not essential.
- Understanding of or interest in the built environment, design, engineering, or consultancy sectors is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
