Overview
Element is seeking an experienced Bid and Contract Manager to lead the delivery of high-value, strategically critical bids across the business unit. A hybrid role, with flexibility and autonomy.
This is a high-impact role where you will take ownership of must-win opportunities, bringing structure, governance, and discipline to complex bids in a regulated, assurance-led environment. You will play a pivotal role in winning strategically important contracts and work at the heart of a global TIC organisation committed to assurance, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of major bids, from qualification through submission.
- Shape winning strategies, value propositions, and compelling bid narratives.
- Introduce consistent bid governance, qualification, and review processes.
- Partner with Sales, Technical, Commercial, and Legal teams to manage risk and protect margin.
- Improve win rates and bid efficiency in line with TIC-sector best practice.
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Law, Environmental Science, or relevant field (Master’s desirable).
- 5–10+ years of experience in bid management, contract management, or commercial roles within regulated sectors (TIC, engineering, construction, environmental services).
- AI fluency—ability to use AI-supported RFP, CLM, automation, and analytics tools.
- Data literacy—win/loss analysis, margin modelling, risk exposure evaluation.
- Advanced negotiation intelligence—structured concession strategy and risk-led negotiation.
- ESG & regulatory awareness—understanding how sustainability scoring and compliance impact bid outcomes.
- Contract risk & compliance capability—identifying hidden liabilities and ensuring lifecycle governance.
- High-pressure delivery—ability to manage tight deadlines across multiple bids.
- Cross-functional leadership—ability to influence technical, legal, commercial, and operational teams across regions.
