🚨 Bid Assistant/Bid Coordinator
📍 Portsmouth | 💰 £35,000 – £40,000 + Package | 🏡 Part Time or Full Time Considered | Permanent
We're working with a growing multi-disciplinary design & build consultancy looking to appoint a highly organised Bid Assistant/Bid Coordinator to support their successful Bid Manager and play a key role in the delivery of high-quality tender submissions across a diverse portfolio of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional environment where attention to detail, organisation and collaboration make a genuine difference to winning new business.
Working alongside an experienced Bid Manager, Directors and multi-disciplinary technical teams, you'll become an integral part of the bid function, coordinating and producing high-quality tender submissions across Building Surveying, Architecture, Mechanical & Electrical Design, Civil & Structural Engineering, BIM, AutoCAD & Revit Design, Building Services and MOD/Defence projects.
The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within bid administration, bid coordination, proposals, document control or professional services support, although candidates from construction, consultancy, engineering, architecture or similar project-led environments will also be considered.

The Role
- Support the Bid Manager throughout the full tender and bid lifecycle
- Coordinate tender documentation, submission programmes and key deadlines
- Liaise with Building Surveyors, Architects, Engineers and Design Teams to gather technical information and supporting documentation
- Format, proofread and compile professional bid and tender submissions
- Maintain bid libraries, standard responses, project information and supporting documentation
- Coordinate documentation throughout the bid process, ensuring submissions are accurate, compliant and presented to the highest standard
- Assist with the management of tender opportunities, submission programmes and internal bid planning
- Support post-tender feedback, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with Directors and technical teams to ensure submissions are delivered on time and reflect the quality and capability of the business
What They're Looking For
- Previous experience within Bid Administration, Bid Coordination, Tender Support or Proposal Management
- Alternatively, experience within construction, consultancy, engineering, architecture or professional services administration
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Strong written communication and document presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail with a methodical and proactive approach
- Comfortable working alongside Directors and multi-disciplinary technical teams
- Positive, collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
