⭐🏆 Bid Coordinator - Construction / Refurbishment 🛠️🦺

Salary: up to £55,000 (experience dependent) + benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week (08:00hrs - 17:00hrs)
Start: Immediate (willing to wait for notice period)
Contract: Permanent / Full-Time - (Hybrid) 1-day WFH after probation
Location: East London (FREE PARKING ON SITE)

🤝 Responsibilities of the role but not limited to;

  • Manage the Bid/No Bid process and coordinate activity between the Estimating and Bid teams
  • Oversee expressions of interest, downloading of SQs/PQQs and ITTs, and manage bid timetables to ensure on-time submission
  • With support from the Head of Bids, write responses to allocated PQQ and tender questions - breaking down questions to score top marks in a clear, easily understood way
  • Turn complex information into persuasive, powerful narratives
  • Liaise with clients and consultants to understand requirements via the clarification process
  • Manage bid production, portal uploads, and the bid library, accreditations and references databases
  • Prepare detailed case studies, corporate CVs and tender interview presentations
  • Help determine lessons learnt on unsuccessful bids and implement improvements
  • Support the delivery of social value initiatives, including community engagement events and charitable activities
  • Continually update and refresh the visual feel of the company's bids

🤩 Desirable attributes of the successful candidate

  • 1 year+ experience in bid coordination, ideally within social housing, construction or refurbishment
  • Strong data tracking and reporting skills
  • A wordsmith with the power to influence through writing
  • Balance creativity and structure, even under tight deadlines
  • Bring commercial awareness and strategic thinking to the table
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint), InDesign, MS Projects and online tender portals
  • Experience in a main contractor environment supporting construction bids
  • A proactive, upbeat, team player who loves getting things done
  • Communicate clearly, confidently, and with impact - internally and externally
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Love to learn, grow, and make a real difference
