Bid Manager ( Microsoft Partner ) – European Business – Hitachi Solutions

About the Role

Hitachi Solutions is a core IT company of the Hitachi Group, employing over 400,000 people worldwide. As part of the Business Solutions division, a fast-growing Microsoft Partner specialising in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and cloud technology, we deliver industry-specific ERP, CRM, and business intelligence solutions for public and private sector clients across Europe (UK, France, Germany).

We’re seeking a highly organised, proactive, and detail-driven Bid Manager to drive our European growth strategy. You’ll lead end-to-end bid execution, ensuring timely, compliant, and winning proposals across complex, high-value opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Bid Management

  • Lead the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification to submission and post-submission reviews.
  • Develop and manage bid plans, schedules, and resource allocation using Microsoft Teams, Planner, or similar tools.
  • Facilitate kick-off meetings, win-theme workshops, and regular progress reviews.
  • Collaborate across commercial, technical, and delivery teams to ensure role clarity and timely input.
  • Enforce compliance with client requirements—formatting, structure, submission protocols—while ensuring governance gates (e.g., Pink/Red/Gold reviews).
  • Maintain a compliance matrix and traceability against all client criteria.
  • Manage bidder Q&As, risks, and issue mitigation; escalate actions to senior stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a central bid documentation repository (including reusable templates).
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
