The Role

This is a critical position responsible for leading end-to-end bid management across public and private sector opportunities, with a particular focus on public sector frameworks. You’ll own the bid lifecycle, from qualification through to submission, ensuring every response is compliant, compelling, and commercially robust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full bid lifecycle, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality submissions
  • Manage multiple concurrent tenders, frameworks, and mini-competitions, prioritising effectively
  • Support go/no-go decisions based on commercial viability, resource requirements, and probability of success
  • Develop structured bid plans, timelines, compliance matrices, and governance frameworks
  • Produce clear, persuasive, and customer-focused bid content aligned to evaluation criteria
  • Translate complex technical solutions into compelling public sector narratives
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical, commercial, finance, and leadership teams
  • Track bid performance, customer feedback, and win/loss data to improve future submissions
  • Enhance bid quality and efficiency through the use of tools, AI, and structured content libraries
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, embedding best practice across bid processes and governance

What We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience as a Bid Manager within IT services, technology, or complex solutions environments
  • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement, including frameworks, tender portals, and evaluation criteria
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft high-scoring responses
  • Demonstrable ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders under pressure
  • Experience in public sector frameworks, including mini-competitions and call-offs
  • Strong understanding of IT services such as cloud, cyber, infrastructure, and managed services
  • Familiarity with bid tools, AI solutions, and content management practices
  • Track record of improving bid processes, templates, and knowledge libraries
