🏢 The Role:
This role is critical in driving high-quality, compelling bid submissions that support our growth across IT services and solutions, with a particular focus on Public Sector Frameworks and procurement routes. The Bid Manager will take ownership of the end-to-end bid process—from qualification through to submission—working closely with technical, sales, and leadership teams to produce compliant, persuasive, and commercially sound responses. The role will also play an important part in strengthening our bid capability by reviewing outcomes, improving processes, capturing lessons learned, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across all bid activity.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the end-to-end bid process for tenders, framework opportunities, mini-competitions, and direct award routes, ensuring all submissions are well-planned, compliant, and delivered on time.
- Manage multiple bids and deadlines across public and private sector opportunities, prioritising workload and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout.
- Support robust go/no-go decisions by assessing customer requirements, framework criteria, commercial fit, resource needs, and probability of success.
- Develop bid plans, timelines, compliance matrices, and responsibility trackers to ensure submissions meet procurement requirements and internal quality standards.
- Write, review, and refine compelling bid content that clearly demonstrates Kubus’ value, technical capability, service approach, and customer outcomes.
- Translate technical solutions into clear, customer-focused messaging suitable for Public Sector Frameworks, including responses aligned to procurement questions, evaluation criteria, and scoring methodologies.
- Collaborate with the whole Kubus team to deliver the right result every time, gathering input from technical, commercial, finance, service delivery, and leadership colleagues.
- Track bid performance, customer feedback, framework outcomes, and win/loss trends to improve future submissions and strengthen win rates.
- Use tools, AI, and structured bid libraries to enhance bid quality, consistency, speed, and compliance.
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven Bid Manager experience within IT services, technology solutions, or a similar complex solutions environment.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, with practical experience of Public Sector Frameworks, tender portals, mini-competitions, award criteria, compliance requirements, and structured evaluation processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to turn technical and commercial information into clear, persuasive bid responses.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines, maintain attention to detail, and coordinate input from multiple stakeholders under time pressure.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging colleagues at all levels and building trusted relationships across the business.
- A passion for continuous improvement, with the ability to review bid outcomes, identify lessons learned, improve templates and processes, and raise the overall quality and consistency of submissions.
- Must be able to demonstrate Kubus’ company values.
