Bid Manager
Newbury (preferred) or Milton Keynes
Are you an experienced Bid Manager who enjoys bringing people together to shape clear, compelling proposals? Do you thrive in environments where collaboration, curiosity and thoughtful challenge lead to better outcomes? If so, this could be a great next step.
We're looking for someone with solid experience in bid management gained within the construction sector. You may have worked on bids for schools, defence, healthcare or commercial projects — or perhaps you bring experience from similar complex environments and are ready to apply it in a new setting. The core question is: Do you know how to turn technical ideas into a story that resonates with clients?
In this role, you'll guide the bid process from early engagement through to final submission. Instead of simply coordinating documents, you'll help shape the narrative: What matters most to this client? What's the clearest way to explain our methodology? How do we ensure our commercial, operational and technical inputs all tell one joined-up story? You'll work closely with colleagues across the business to bring clarity, structure and direction to each bid, ensuring every section is thought through and aligned.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
