Bid Manager
A multi-disciplinary consultancy is currently seeking a bid manager to join their team in a newly created role. This will be the first dedicated bid role for the business, giving you the opportunity to really make the role your own. This role will grow over time and there may be potential to build a team in the future.
You will have bid experience working within a multi-disciplinary consultancy and understand how this type of business operates. You must have public sector / framework bidding experience and be a strong all-rounder who can take charge of the bid function, managing bids as well as creating engaging content. InDesign experience is essential.
This is a hybrid role based in Leamington Spa. Salary is £55,000 - £70,000 depending on experience. As a small business, my client is looking for someone who will fit in well with the current team and play an integral part in the business growth.

- Proactively identify and track new framework and tender opportunities across procurement portals, frameworks and DPS platforms relevant to building surveying and project management services.
- Own the bid process end-to-end, from opportunity qualification and bid/no-bid decisions through to final submission, across multiple sectors (social housing, commercial, education, public sector and more).
- Lead bid strategy and shape the written narrative, ensuring submissions clearly evidence technical capability, track record and value proposition.
- Coordinate input from surveyors, directors and external contributors, translating technical input into clear, compelling, evaluator-friendly responses.
- Complete supplier questionnaires, PQQs, SQs, EOIs and framework applications accurately and on time.
- Build and maintain a library of tender responses, case studies, CVs and compliance documentation for re-use across submissions.
- Monitor bid progress against deadlines, manage risks, and take proactive corrective action to protect submission quality and timescales.
- Review and quality-check all submissions prior to issue, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with tender requirements.
- Log and track bid activity on Monday.com, ensuring the Leads & Pipeline board reflects live bid status.
- Review feedback from unsuccessful and successful bids and feed learnings back into templates, the response library and future submissions.
