Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

About You:

  • Excellent Project Management skills in timely management of bids to meet strict deadlines – not a strictly nine to five role – an understanding that the deadline must be met, and this requires some flexibility as to hours worked.
  • Strong attention to detail: Excellent English; writing and numerical skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills and facilitating presentation rehearsals.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively and appropriately with staff at all levels within the company.
  • Commercial, bids, tender, business development, marketing background or equivalent military experience.
  • Ability to persuade, influence and challenge in a constructive manner and identify appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to translate the firm's service offering into key benefits for a client.
  • Must be able to “think outside the box” so that new opportunities can be exploited.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint) is essential.

This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov.UK. If you are unable to meet this and any associated criteria, then your employment may be delayed, or rejected. Details of this will be discussed with you at interview.
