Bids & Pursuits Manager
We are seeking an experienced Bids & Pursuits Manager to lead the development of high-quality, client-focused proposals within a leading international law firm. This is a strategic and hands-on role, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver compelling bids that drive business growth and improve win rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end bid and pursuit process, from opportunity qualification through to submission and post-bid review
- Develop clear win strategies and value propositions aligned to client needs
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to shape and deliver high-impact, client-centric proposals
- Drive best-practice bid management, ensuring consistency, quality and continuous improvement
- Analyse bid performance, feedback, and data to improve outcomes and win rates
- Coach and support junior team members, contributing to a high-performing business development culture

About You
- Proven experience (5+ years) managing bids/pursuits within professional services or a similar environment
- Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop successful win strategies and compelling written proposals
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple complex opportunities to tight deadlines
- Excellent written and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Experience coaching or mentoring others is advantageous
