We are looking for an enthusiastic BID Manager to round up our talented and dynamic team in London and Dubai for both our Lighting Design practice "Delta Lighting Design" and our Landscape Design practice "The Vero Studio".

Job Purpose

The Bid Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai or in London, responsible for managing an opportunity from qualification through to contract award, including value proposition, solution development, commercial considerations, partner identification, and risk management. Responsibilities include the introduction and implementation of all necessary bid procedures, and tender documents management in compliance with the company policies and standards. This is a highly networked role that requires the ability to work under pressure and to meet challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and commercial skills.

About the role

  • Manage bid pipelines, coordinating inputs from design, technical, and commercial teams, and ensuring all submissions are compliant, compelling, and aligned with client requirements and brand standards.
  • Attend launching meetings, define tender scope and specifications, review tender documentation, technical requirements, and conditions pertaining to the project.
  • Analyze tender documentation, develop bid strategies and win themes, prepare detailed bid plans and timelines, and track progress against milestones.
  • Day-to-day tasks include writing and editing bid content, producing supporting materials, and ensuring accurate pricing and commercial documentation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain a central bid knowledge base, while monitoring bid performance metrics, implementing continuous improvement in bid processes, supporting client presentations, and clarifications as needed.
  • Assess technical and commercial risks related to the bid throughout the bid process and take necessary action to mitigate them in compliance with the company policies.
  • Manage the bid budget; tracking costs when needed.
  • Research and review current and future market trends to always ensure timely delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About Us

Founded in 1998, Delta Lighting Design is an award-winning, independent lighting design studio, with offices in London and Dubai.

Today, we work with the most prominent names in the architectural field in Europe, US, and the Middle East, and our portfolio includes some of the most exciting projects currently on the market, from city masterplans to urban areas regeneration, public cultural spaces, and high-end hospitality.

Our approach to lighting design is highly creative, within a framework of technological vision and dark sky protection. We employ the latest technologies to achieve state-of-the-art lighting schemes, while maintaining focus on the exquisite human experience. We do not supply lighting equipment and remain completely independent as designers, yet very often our projects require a high level of customization and integration, challenging us to innovate and anticipate future technologies.

With a robust team of experienced and driven designers, BIM architects, VR, and visual artists, we assume full ownership of the lighting process and lead it from concept to commissioning, giving the best level of service, professionalism, and on-time delivery.

We are a young and super friendly team, and while being spread across 3 countries, we have in place a communication system to ensure a constant flow of knowledge and fresh ideas among team members.
