- Partner with senior leaders to develop winning pursuit strategies, positioning and client engagement plans.
- Lead strategy sessions for new business opportunities, helping define clear win themes and points of differentiation.
- Translate market intelligence, client insights and commercial drivers into compelling proposals and presentations.
- Manage the end-to-end bid process from qualification through to submission across multiple concurrent pursuits.
- Produce high-quality proposals, presentations and marketing collateral that align with brand standards.
- Support wider business development initiatives through targeted campaigns, events, research and thought leadership.
- Work collaboratively with technical teams to develop persuasive content and visual communications.
- Contribute to knowledge management, marketing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Embrace emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to improve marketing effectiveness and pursuit delivery.
- Maintain marketing resources, collateral and information systems while supporting broader team initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven bids and marketing experience within architecture, design, engineering or professional services (AEC experience highly advantageous).
- Proven experience leading strategic pursuits and influencing business development conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to develop compelling win strategies and client-focused messaging.
- Demonstrable success improving bid quality, pursuit strategy and win rates.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong graphic design capabilities with advanced experience producing high-impact proposals and presentations.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Confident collaborating with senior leadership and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proactive, commercially minded and naturally curious, with an interest in AI and emerging technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign is essential.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator, alongside Microsoft Office. Experience with Figma or Miro would be beneficial.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Business or a related discipline is preferred.
