The Role

We're on the hunt for a Bid Writer to join the growing Work Winning team. In this role, you'll produce engaging, high-quality bid and pre-qualification responses that showcase expertise and help secure exciting new projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce compelling written responses for PQQs, tenders, case studies, CVs, and project experience documents.
  • Support Bid Managers, Business Development Managers, and the Head of Bid Management throughout the bid process.
  • Ensure submissions are compliant, professionally presented, and tailored to client requirements.
  • Edit, proofread, and coordinate tender documentation to maintain consistently high standards.
  • Facilitate storyboarding sessions and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop winning content.
  • Create supporting graphics, flowcharts, organization charts, and visual content to enhance submissions.
  • Maintain the document management system and contribute to the continual improvement of bid content and knowledge management.
  • Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while delivering high-quality submissions to tight deadlines.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in bid writing, proposal writing, technical writing, or producing high-quality tender submissions.
  • Excellent written English with exceptional proofreading, editing, and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with technical and operational stakeholders.
  • Degree educated with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Word.
  • Bonus: Experience within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, or the built environment, along with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and bid management processes.
