Role Description The Bid Writer is responsible for producing clear, compelling, and compliant bid documents, proposals, and tender responses that align with client requirements and Bid2Win’s quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing tender documentation, gathering information from internal consultants and client stakeholders, drafting responses, and refining content to highlight value propositions and differentiators. The role involves coordinating timelines, maintaining bid libraries and templates, and ensuring submissions are accurate, well-structured, and delivered on schedule. This is a contract position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid working arrangement that allows some work from home. The Bid Writer will collaborate closely with the wider consulting team to continuously improve bid processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in bid writing, proposal writing, or tender management within private or public sector environments.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong proofreading and editing capabilities to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Ability to analyse tender documents, perform structured research, and tailor responses to specific evaluation criteria.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines, managing multiple bids simultaneously, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable collaborating with subject matter experts, consulting teams, and client stakeholders to gather and refine content.
  • Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, shared document platforms).
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with a disciplined approach to version control and document structure.
  • Understanding of procurement processes and evaluation methods in public and/or private sector contracting is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in consulting, business development, or sales support roles is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as Business, Communications, English, or a related discipline.
