Bid Writer – Charity / Third Sector
£35,000 - £38,000 + performance bonus (£50k OTE)
Remote with occasional travel
Are you an experienced bid writer with a talent for crafting compelling funding applications? Do you want to use your skills to make a meaningful difference in the charity and not-for-profit sector?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation that supports charities across the UK with their fundraising efforts. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team, working remotely, with occasional travel.
What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing and submitting high-quality, tailored funding bids for a range of charitable clients
- Collaborating with clients to identify fundable projects and develop strategic funding approaches
- Managing multiple deadlines and ensuring compliance with funders’ requirements
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and internal team members

What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience writing successful funding bids in the charity or third sector
- Excellent written communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and working to deadlines
- Willing to travel occasionally for client meetings
- Must be based in the UK

What’s on offer:
- Salary: £38,000–£40,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience
- Bonus scheme: Performance-related bonus (OTE of £50k)
