Bid Writer (German Speaker) – Fully Remote Role
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a German-speaking Bid Writer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in winning new business across the UK and Europe. You’ll collaborate with Sales Managers and subject matter experts to craft compelling, high-quality tender responses that showcase our services and values.
This is about strategic storytelling, project coordination, and driving success in competitive bids.

Role Details
Location: Fully remote (requires UK residence) Salary: £33,500–£38,000 proportional per annum (based on experience) hours: 40 per week
Home Working Requirements
Personal (minimum)
- Suitable quiet home-office environment
- Alternative work location in place for technical outages
Technical (minimum)
- Wired internet connection (DSL/Wired – no wireless permitted)
- Router must be VOIP compatible
- Download speed: minimum 10.0 mbps
- Upload speed: minimum 5.0 mbps

Responsibilities
As a Bid Writer, your core duties include:

Tender Analysis & Coordination
- Breakdown tender requirements into digestible insights for cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with sales managers and subject matter experts to understand key elements
- Manage timelines, assign tasks, and track deadlines

Writing & Compliance
- Write clear, persuasive, and compliant responses to tender questions
- Incorporate insights from the Bid Library and Bid Archive to strengthen submissions
- Ensure deliverables are logically structured, error-free, and easily accessible

Bid Resource Development
- Extract high-quality content from successful tenders and add it to the EMEA Bid Library
- Refine bid materials in collaboration with product and process experts
- Enhance value proposition clarity through specialist knowledge

Support in Extended Bidding Phil
- Participation in RFIs, due diligence, and buyer audit activities (depending on experience and need)
Development Pathway
After passing probation, eyes on progression to Senior Bid Writer, supported by structured progression programme.
Requirements & Skills
Essential Qualifications & experience
- Fluent in German with strong written communication in English
- Advanced MS.Word expertise, with working knowledge of:
- Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint
