About The Role

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Bid Writer to sit within its dedicated team. You will assist with developing content and structures for submissions, often to tight deadlines. This role will involve presenting a bid in a way, which pulls factual information gleaned from a variety of sources in a format which is both engaging and comprehensive to the reader.

Key Responsibilities of a Bid Writer:

  • Produce professionally written content that clearly articulates Bidvest Noonan’s value proposition
  • Articulating ideas and technical solutions within submissions in conjunction with operations teams
  • Understanding and presenting operational & commercial content in a way which is easily understood
  • Working closely with the Bid Manager to assist in the development of model answers for a bespoke Bid Library
  • Ensure tenders and business proposals meet all relevant specifications and are in line with the most recent research available and best practice
  • Working closely with the Bid Team to generate new ideas
  • Active member of the Bid team, consisting Business Development, Operations, HR & Commercial
  • Network and build relationships with internal stakeholders

  • Experience in content generation
  • A good communicator with the ability to articulate requirements
  • Creative with the ability to consider new ways of presenting content
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work on multiple proposals/bids
  • Experience in working to tight deadlines
  • Advanced MS Office Skills
