Role Description
The Bid Writer will work full time in a remote capacity, developing clear, persuasive, and compliant responses for public and private sector tenders. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:
- Drafting, structuring, and refining bid content
- Tailoring standard materials
- Ensuring consistency with evaluation criteria and bid strategy
Additionally, the Bid Writer will:
- Review and edit existing responses
- Maintain and update bid libraries
- Support quality assurance processes to improve win rates
Regular reporting on progress, risks, and content gaps is expected, along with adherence to deadlines and internal governance procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong bid and proposal writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive content tailored to specific tenders.
- Proficiency in editing, proofreading, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with evaluation criteria.
- Experience in bid coordination or project management, including managing timelines, stakeholder input, and document version control.
- Ability to interpret tender documents, conduct targeted research, and translate complex information into accessible, client-focused responses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a structured, organized working style.
- Comfort working remotely, using collaboration tools and maintaining regular communication with colleagues and clients.
- Prior experience in bid writing, proposal management, or a related field; familiarity with public sector procurement processes is an advantage.
