Role Summary
A person who is responsible for the production of and proof-reading of written elements of tender and pre-qualification submissions for Coffey. They will collaborate with various department and company team members to develop the excellent tender and proposals content to win projects.
This role is for a 3 month Fixed-Term contract position.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing technical and non-technical input into pre-qualification submissions which demonstrates the company’s expertise, capability, and experience
- Support bid planning, including identifying unique selling points (USPs), win themes, and storyboarding
- Conduct market, competitor, and sector research to inform bid responses
- Ensure all submissions meet client requirements, internal standards, and legal or regulatory frameworks
- Maintain bid planning documents, project plans, and gap analyses
- Submission Support: With the Upload and submission of bids, tenders, and supporting documentation accurately and on time
- Be accountable for the quality of their content and written submissions.
- Reviewing and editing tender or pre-qualification submission inputs from subject matter specialists, both within and outside the company
- Creating the template documents for tender and pre-qualification submissions
- Support in creating and maintaining the systems and libraries associated with the production of bid documentation
- Promoting continual improvement in the standard of tender and pre-qualification submissions

Essential Criteria
- A degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of bid writing experience in business-to-business or sales environments
- Excellent technical writing skills and written presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude to workload and learning
- Willing to work in a collaborative manner with team members within the proposals team, tendering team, and the wider company
- Be self-driven and demonstrate a willingness to work on your own initiative, develop improvements, and keep up to date with industry knowledge
- Able to manage work within fixed deadlines.

- Professional recognition through organisations like the Association of Proposal Management Professionals
