About The Role
Role: Bids & Contract Manager
Location: Commutable to Cardington or Runcorn - Hybrid
Contract Type: Permanent, Full time
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm
Salary: £40,000 plus £5K discretionary bonus (based on KPI's/tender wins)

We are looking for a Bids & Contract Manager to join our Partner Sales team, based at either Cardington or Runcorn. This role will play a key part in coordinating bids, tenders, proposals and contract activity, ensuring submissions are accurate, compliant and commercially aligned. Working closely with sales, operations, finance and other stakeholders, you will help improve bid quality, strengthen contract governance and support business growth through well-managed tender and contract processes.
Duties & responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the end-to-end bid, tender and proposal process from qualification through to submission
- Review tender documentation and customer requirements to identify key deadlines, compliance requirements, clarification questions and submission criteria
- Coordinate bid timelines, deadlines and governance across multiple internal stakeholders
- Work closely with the Sales Director and Account Managers to shape opportunities and structure proposal responses
- Develop high-quality proposal content using existing templates and create new content where required
- Ensure all submissions are professional, consistent, compliant and aligned to customer requirements and evaluation criteria
- Support contract review and administration, including tracking contract versions, key dates, approvals, signatures and renewal requirements
- Maintain and develop a central bid content library, including case studies, standard responses, certifications, policies and supporting documents

About you
- Previous experience in bids, tenders, proposals, contracts or a similar coordination role
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Confident working collaboratively across sales, operations, finance, legal and other internal teams
- Commercially aware, with experience using templates, structured documents or content libraries
