Bids Manager

This role is being offered with fully or partly remote working, on a full-time basis. You would need to be located in the UK and be able to travel to one of our UK offices.
Your Role
TLT’s Bids team has a strong track record of retaining and winning new business to support the delivery of the firm’s ambitious growth strategy. Using an efficient and structured process, the team collaborates with the partners and sector teams in developing compelling, benefits-led and tailored bids.
This role is focused on our Private Sector work, which is dominated by the Financial Services sector. Other key sectors include Infrastructure, Digital, Retail, and Leisure, Food & Drink. You will report to TLT's Lead Manager, Bids and be supported by a Bids Assistant.

As Bids Manager, we expect you to deliver the following:
- Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of TLTs private sector offering including our clients, service lines and specific initiatives.
- Scope the bid requirements, participate in the bid “go/no-go” process, identify key stakeholders and map out how to achieve maximum marks against the evaluation criteria.
- Prepare a bid plan, delivery programme and implement a structured best practice end-to-end process.
- Work with the lead partner and subject matter experts to develop a winning strategy, clearly identifying our value proposition.
- Write compelling bid copy clearly articulating our win themes and in line with our tone of voice guidelines.
- Project manage the bid from opportunity assessment stage through to drafting, submission, post submission feedback and reporting.
- Work with the firm’s Commercial Business Partners to inform and develop pricing strategy.
- Produce tender analysis informing management information and reporting.
- Maintain and update our experience database with precedent text.
- Prepare and coach bid teams for client presentations including messaging and rehearsals.
- Manage the continuous development of systems and processes to drive efficient bid production.
- Potential line management of team members as required.

Your Skills and Experience
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to work to multiple deadlines.
- Interacting, working and communicating confidently with a wide range of colleagues both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent spelling and grammar and attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Solid technical/IT understanding.
- An understanding of the Financial Services environment would be advantageous.
