We’re Hiring: Big Data Developer | Start Date: 14th July 2026

Job Title: Big Data Developer (Python)

Location: Camden Town, London

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per year

Experience: 2–5 years


Job Description

We are urgently hiring a Big Data Developer / Big Data Engineer with strong experience in Python. You will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and distributed data systems in a fast-paced environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in software development and data engineering, especially within large-scale data environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Big Data applications
  • Build, optimize, and manage ETL pipelines and data workflows
  • Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization

Required Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience as a Big Data Developer / Python Developer / Software Engineer
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Basic knowledge of Scala, Java, Hadoop
  • Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
