Location: London(Preferred) / Romania

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Test Manager who is a native French speaker to lead testing workstreams for a device lifecycle services project. This role is pivotal in liaising directly with French-speaking customers and internal stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality solutions.The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from strategy and planning through to execution and defect resolution, primarily within a Waterfall delivery environment.

Language Requirements

Native-level fluency in French and professional proficiency in English.

Contract Context: Supporting a device lifecycle services deal.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for French-speaking customers regarding all testing activities, ensuring requirements are understood and quality standards are met.

Test Strategy & Planning: Create and maintain comprehensive Test Plans and schedules aligned with Computacenter standards.

End-to-End Management: Oversee all stages of testing, ensuring proper execution of test scripts and meticulous documentation of results.

Defect Management: Lead the defect lifecycle—tracking, reporting, and managing resolutions in coordination with technical teams and functional consultants.

Reporting: Produce high-quality Test Progress Reports, Daily Management Information (MI), and formal Test Completion Reports.

Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations across internal project teams and external client stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and risk mitigation.

Standards & Compliance: Ensure all testing activities adhere to organizational standards and specific quality benchmarks (e.g., ISO 29119).

Skills & Experience Required:Technical & Professional:Proven experience as a Test Manager overseeing complex projects.

Strong experience working within a Waterfall delivery model.

Expertise in Defect Management and the use of industry-standard tools (e.g., ALM, SpiraTeam, or similar)

Demonstrable experience writing formal Test Plans, Progress Reports, and Completion Reports.

Experience in Device Lifecycle Services is highly advantageous but not essential.

Soft Skills

Exceptional internal and external stakeholder management skills.

Ability to communicate technical testing concepts clearly to non-technical customer audiences in both French and English.

Analytical thinker with high attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
