We’re looking for a highly organised, self-motivated Billing Analyst to become a key part of our dynamic Billing department.

In this role, you’ll take command of the invoicing process to ensure every bill run is completed accurately, on time, and in line with our SLAs. We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A sharp eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer literacy and confidence working with data
  • Solid understanding of billing processes and modern billing systems

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end to end billing processes, ensuring data accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and meeting monthly billing deadlines
  • Maintain and input data into the Ability billing system, performing system checks and generating reports prior to invoice finalisation
  • Monitor, resolve, and document discrepancies, escalating complex issues to the Billing Manager when required
  • Provide comprehensive billing support to internal stakeholders and external customers, resolving queries efficiently and maintaining high standards of accuracy and service
  • Load, reconcile, and validate supplier CDRs, disputing inaccuracies and supporting supplier onboarding to ensure full reconciliation capability
  • Work with Billing system provider on loader creation/amendments, system maintenance, and resolving billing system issues efficiently
  • Maintain and update tariffs, destination tables, and other billing platform configurations in line with internal or compliance changes
  • Produce and manage bespoke customer reports
  • Support revenue assurance initiatives, ad hoc projects, system testing, and external audit information requests

Essential

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of telecoms billing, tariffs, and data reconciliation
  • Able to proactively take ownership of key tasks, roles and responsibilities, seeing them through to completion
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
  • Analytical, organised, and solution focused
  • Customer focused with strong relationship building abilities

Desirable

  • Experience using billing platforms such as Ability and service tools
  • Basic accounting knowledge related to invoicing and revenue assurance
