As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Billing Analyst to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has proven experience with Zoho CRM, Zoey Billing System and Xero.
About the Role:
As our Billing Analyst, you will take ownership of the end-to-end billing process, ensuring customer invoices are accurate, supplier charges are validated, and billing enquiries are resolved quickly and professionally. Working closely with our Finance, Operations and Customer Success teams, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly billing cycle using the Zoey Billing System.
- Prepare, review and issue accurate customer invoices.
- Create and maintain tariffs, assign billing rejects and ensure customer accounts have the correct billing IDs.
- Analyse customer usage, contract data and pricing to ensure invoices accurately reflect agreed commercial terms.
- Review supplier invoices and cost prices, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers to recover incorrect charges and ensure appropriate credits are applied.
- Respond promptly to customer billing enquiries, invoice disputes and account amendments, providing excellent customer service throughout.
- Produce and issue Statements of Account and process Credit Notes within Xero.
- Update customer tickets and account activity within Zoho CRM, ensuring clients receive timely communication and resolution.
- Reconcile billing data, maintain accurate financial records and generate regular billing reports.
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to improve billing accuracy, efficiency and internal processes.

About you:
You are organised, analytical and enjoy solving problems. You have excellent attention to detail, thrive under pressure and take pride in delivering a first-class service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience using Zoho CRM, Zoey Billing System and Xero (these are essential and applications without this experience are unlikely to be considered).
- Experience working with industry billing platforms such as Ability, Cascade, Zoey or Affinity.
- Strong understanding of billing processes, invoicing, account reconciliation and financial administration.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to validate, reconcile and interpret billing data.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience within the IT, telecommunications, managed services or cyber security sectors would be advantageous.
- A qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline is desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
