Location: Hybrid/Kings Hill, Kent
Salary/package: From £25,948.96 per annum
Contract type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

LASER Energy are looking for a detail-focused and proactive Billing Assistant to join their fast-paced team. In this essential customer-focused role, you’ll deliver accurate and timely billing for Fully Managed Customers while resolving supplier billing issues. What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver accurate billing by validating supplier billing files and resolving anomalies.
  • Identify, log, and resolve supplier billing errors in a timely and transparent way.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of customer billing positions and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships to improve billing performance.
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with customers and internal teams.
  • Use scorecard feedback to understand customer needs and enhance service delivery.
  • Propose and implement process improvements that enhance customer experience.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive and customer-focused mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage and resolve queries efficiently.
  • Experience working with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed performance KPIs.
