We are delighted and excited to offer this opportunity to join a vibrant dynamic and rapidly expanding tech business in the telecommunication billing sector.

Due to recent sales success they have secured commitment from multiple Telecom/Mobile Resellers, VARs and Wholesalers to move all or elements of their Billing operations to this state-of-the-art platform.

Therefore, we need a Billing Migration Specialist to join the team; working with customers to gain an understanding of their existing billing operations and then build mutually beneficial plans to transition data and services to the new platform.

Responsibilities

Build a relationship with prospects and new customers to fully understand existing customer data, processes and operations Understand and capture customer migration / conversion requirements including data mapping, cleansing and de-duplication Work with stakeholders on their billing migration project including agreeing timelines, resources, milestones and testing for their new system implementation Pro-actively identify and address or escalate issues that can impact project deliveries Run Data Analysis and Billing workshops with stakeholders before, during and after migration Data manipulation and investigation, resolving and responding to queries from inside and outside the business Take the lead for data migration including parallel bill run activities in Test and Live environments Review and report data migration and parallel bill run results Assist customers in reviewing data migration and parallel bill run results Creation of hand over documentation and performing training to the customer and internal teams Provide primary billing support of new customers for an agreed period following go live Report against agreed KPIs for key stakeholders Provide ongoing operational input, guidance and support to clients.

Experience in working in the telecoms industry with a good understanding of telecoms billing is essential Experience on one or more of these billing platforms would be beneficial: Abillity, Eclipse, EBillz, Clarity, Intelligent Billing, Affinity or Elevate Strong skills in Excel and knowledge of other Microsoft Applications Experience of databases and SQL is an advantage Good Project skills, Organised and have an eye for detail Excellent communication and inter-personal skills Stakeholder management Proactive focus on customer support and delivery
