Billing Implementation Manager

up to £600 per day
Remote working
ASAP Start
min 5 month contract

My client is implementing Chargebee as their billing platform and need a hands-on billing specialist to lead the implementation, embed best-practice process, and take it from go-live to a stable, optimised state. They require someone with experience with Chargebee (or similar) in a channel/partner or subscription business, and is comfortable both designing process and running it during transition.

Responsibilities

  • Chargebee Implementation & Optimisation
    • Configure products, pricing, and partner structures within Chargebee ahead of go-live
    • Design and document best-practice billing processes and workflows suited to our channel/partner sales model
    • Work with internal stakeholders (finance, sales, account management) and Chargebee/implementation partners to ensure correct, scalable configuration
    • Build out CDR collection processes and cadences per partner (e.g. billing on the 25th; other partners on the 1st)
    • Post go-live, run a structured review to identify pain points, manual workarounds, and inefficiencies
    • Streamline and automate the monthly billing cycle: invoice generation, QC, dispatch, payment file generation, payment allocation, and reporting
    • Reduce manual touchpoints and error rates across the billing cycle
    • Document SOPs and hand over a stable, optimised process to the ongoing billing/finance team
    • Build onboarding (setup, first invoice accuracy) and offboarding (termination, final billing, credit notes) processes to prevent errors and disputes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
