Role: Billing Specialist
Location: Virtual
Reporting to: CEO
Hours: Part-time flexible working hours – 30- 40 hours a month

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar roles (professional services firm experience preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and/or similar billing systems.
- Solid understanding of billing cycles, WIP, AR, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred, not required).
Responsibilities
- Manage the full invoicing cycle: pre-bills, edits, and finalization, accurately and on time.
- Generate and distribute WIP and A/R reports using Karbon and QuickBooks.
- Review time entries and expense charges; process adjustments, retainers, and write-offs per firm policy.
- Track and reconcile account balances, flagging inconsistencies early.
- Support collections through Client Relationship Partners, with direct client outreach only as needed.
- Prepare monthly billing reports for leadership.
