Billings & Operations Manager
Location: London/Bristol/Chichester or Birmingham (hybrid, 3 days in-office per week)
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB).
About the Role
The Billings & Operations Manager will:
- Own and manage all business and financial processes across fiduciary activities, including client invoicing and cash management.
- Drive efficiencies across these areas while contributing to tactical and strategic initiatives that support business objectives.
- Ensure seamless delivery of fiduciary processes while fostering collaboration across stakeholder teams.
Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Operational ownership – Manage our financial processes to meet organisational goals.
- Process improvement – Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and implement efficiencies and benefits.
- Financial reporting – Present KPIs and trends to support decision-making.
- Initiative leadership – Apply strong problem-solving and project management skills to deliver key projects.
- Training & development – Create and deliver training materials to support team growth.
- Team management – Lead operational teams, building strong communication with functional groups.

Requirements
Essential qualifications include:
- Strong analytical, organisational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in business process improvement, problem-solving, and project management.
- Ability to solve problems and present data-driven insights for decision-making.
- Strong Excel proficiency (advanced skills) and expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Track record of team management and a commitment to high standards.
