BIM Co-ordinator
BIM and Project Information Manager – Assistant (London, E4 8JG)

The Role
Location: London, England, E4 8JG Mission: Support the Project Information Manager and BIM Manager in establishing and maintaining a robust digital framework, ensuring a high-performance Common Data Environment (CDE). Ensure technical consistency across all BIM models through rigorous quality assurance (QA) procedures and advanced coordination workflows to safeguard data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and Information Management Plan.
- Support element and parameter naming standards across all models.
- Help develop asset data procedures for long-term asset management.
- Prepare and apply model quality assurance template reports and IFD/IDS.
- Create and standardise clash detection report templates using tools like Navisworks.
- Implement and monitor model quality assurance workflows.
- Facilitate seamless collaboration between BIM software environments (Revit ↔ Blender ↔ Navisworks).

Role Requirements
Technical Proficiency
- Advanced BIM Modeller: Expertise in Autodesk Revit (architecture, structural, MEP) and IFC for coordination.
- Clash Management & Coordination: Proficiency in Navisworks Manage for federated model reviews and BIMcollab for issue tracking.
- Advanced Geometry & Visualisation: Experience with Blender (or Blender BIM) for model optimisation and visualisation.
Standards & Documentation
- Strong understanding of:
- Naming conventions and COBie data requirements.
- IFC schema (Industry Foundation Classes).
- Ability to help develop and refine BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Experience with ISO 19650 workflows for CDE management.
