BIM & Project Information Specialist – London, E4 8JG (ACCIÓN A)

Our role in London, E4 8JG, will help shape the future of sustainable infrastructure. Here’s what you’d be doing:


Mission

Assist the Project Information Manager and BIM Manager in establishing and maintaining a high-performance Common Data Environment (CDE). Your work will ensure technical consistency across all digital models, implement rigorous quality assurance processes, and refine advanced coordination workflows to guarantee data integrity throughout the entire project lifecycle.


Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and Information Management Plan.
  • Support element and parameter naming consistency in models.
  • Help develop asset data procedures for effective asset management.
  • Prepare and apply model quality assurance templates (including IDS & quantity takeoffs).
  • Define and maintain clash report templates using [Navisworks Managed](https:// Docs.autodesk.com/navisworks/latest/) or equivalent tools.
  • Lead and apply model quality assurance protocols to improve data integrity.

Role Requirements

Technical Proficiencies

  • BIM Modeling: Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit for architectural, structural, and MEP coordination. IFC interchange experience required.
  • Clash Detection & Coordination: Proven ability to use [Navisworks Managed](https:// Docs.autodesk.com/navisworks/latest/) for federated model reviews and BIMcollab for issue tracking.
  • Advanced Geometry & Visualization: Skills in Blender (or BlenderBIM) for model optimization, visualization, or data representation.

Information & Process Skills

  • BIM Standards Compliance: Uphold naming conventions, COBie data requirements, and IFC schemas.
  • Documentation & Standardization: Help design BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Quality Assurance: Experience conducting model audits, generating automated quality reports, and ensuring interoperability.

Key Competencies

  • OpenBIM Workflows: Strong knowledge of intelligent data exchange between Revit, Blender, Navisworks (and beyond).
  • Attention to Detail: Identify inconsistencies in element parameters and naming conventions.
  • Clear Communication: Translate complex BIM procedures into easy-to-follow instructions for design teams.
  • CDE Management: Apply ISO 19650:2018 (BIM maturity), ensuring efficient collaboration across toolsets.
