BIM Coordinator – London Workplace Interiors Perkins&Will

Role Overview
We’re seeking a BIM Coordinator to enhance our London Workplace Interiors studio’s digital capabilities.
The role focuses on practical, hands-on support using:
- Revit
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- BIM workflows
- Revit add-ins
- Enscape.
You will:
- Help designers tackle real-time project challenges.
- Improve model quality and workflow efficiency.
- Build confidence in daily digital delivery.
- Bridge gaps for diverse teams with varying Revit experience.
This is a support-, coordination-, and capability-building role within our busy interiors studio.
Purpose of the Role
The BIM Coordinator ensures the Workplace Interiors team raises its baseline Revit, BIM, and digital workflow standards.
Responsibilities include:
Studio and Project Support
- Provide Revit, BIM, and digital workflow support across live Workplace projects.
- Troubleshoot technical issues including:
- Model setup, worksharing, linked models, views, sheets, schedules, families
- File performance
- Revit add-ins and plugins
- Assist in project setups (templates, coordinates, linked files, worksets, shared parameters, and browser organisation).
- Conduct model health checks and audits, resolving critical issues.
- Guide teams on Autodesk Construction Cloud for deep collaboration:
- Collaborative file sharing
- Coordination
- Issue tracking
- Facilitate basic coordination workflows, including linked/federated model reviews, where needed.
- Train teams on approved Revit add-ins, including Enscape, for:
- Design development
- Client reviews
- Presentations
- Assist with Enscape troubleshooting (model setups, performance, material/lighting issues, views, assets, and exports).

Standards, Quality, and Content
- Contribute to maintaining and improving:
- Workplace Revit templates
- Standard workflows
- Content libraries
- Enforce:
- Naming conventions
- Schedules, parameters, and documentation standards
- Audit recurring model issues, content gaps, and workflow inefficiencies across projects.
- Summarise support challenges, risks, and improvement opportunities for the Digital Practice team.
- Create brief training materials, e.g.:
- Guidance notes
- Workflow explanations
Training and Capability Building
- Deliver informal desk-side support and hands-on training.
- Onboard professionals new to Revit and interiors workflows.
- Boost Revit skills among junior and mid-level designers—improving consistency and confidence.
- Diversify knowledge through workshops and expert-surgery sessions.
Essential Requirements
The ideal candidate possesses:
- 3–5 years experience in architecture, interiors, BIM, or design technology.
- Proficient, hands-on Revit skills (preferably in commercial workspace, fit-out, or similar).
- Understanding of Revit project setups (worksharing, linked models, families, schedules).
- Previous user-support experience for technical queries.
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360) ors collaborate tools.
- Basic familiarity with Revit add-ins and productivity tools.
- Enscape expertise inclusive of:
- Model setup
- Visualisation
- Real-time rendering
- Solid grasp of BIM coordination principles and model quality.
- Approachable communicator adept at explaining complex issues.
- Organised, reliable, and proactive in multi-project environments.

Desirable Experience
Bonus if you:
- Have experience in workplace/commercial fit-outs or refurbishments.
- ISO 19650 compliance knowledge.
- Worked with Revizto, Navisworks, or other collaboration platforms.
- Customised complex Revit families, templates, or shared parameters.
- Led workshops or user safety drilling.
- Dynamo, Rhino, Excel, or Power BI familiarity.
