Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for a BIM Coordinator to join the team based out of either Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow.

We are seeking someone to join our team and support the coordination of information management processes across some of the most significant Highways and Power sector projects in the UK. This role plays a key part in enabling effective collaboration and supporting the smooth integration of BIM standards into our project delivery.

As part of the BIM Group, you will work with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design data, maintain compliance with client and project requirements, and ensure that our digital processes are implemented consistently and efficiently. You will also support knowledge sharing across the business and provide mentoring for more junior staff

Role Responsibilities

Coordinate design information and BIM deliverables across projects, ensuring alignment with client and project requirements. Apply company and project BIM standards, supporting audits, validation, and quality checks. Support project teams in understanding BIM requirements, tools, and workflows. Identify and resolve coordination issues using appropriate tools and processes. Take a lead on the development of Revit libraries/families Contribute to the preparation of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs), and other project BIM documentation. Engage in mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and participation in BIM-related working groups. Contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM practices and internal processes.

Role Requirements

Proven professional working experience usually gained with over 5 years in similar roles Experience coordinating BIM on infrastructure projects Understanding of ISO 19650 and other relevant industry standards. Proficiency in using industry tools such as AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks. Good communication and collaboration skills. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work across multiple projects and support project teams with information management. Familiarity with BEPs, TIDPs, and other BIM documentation.

Desirable

Experience supporting BIM audits or quality assurance reviews. Participation in CPD, forums, or training related to BIM and information management. We would consider people close to any of our other UK offices. Knowledge of Bentley software. Knowledge of other Autodesk software packages. Ideally located in either Birmingham, Manchester or Glasgow however we would also consider candidates based at our offices in the west of England and the South East.
