About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator with a proven background in Common Data Environments (CDEs) and strong proficiency in CAD software for civil engineering projects. Join our water team and take on a role that blends technical expertise with innovation.
In this position, you’ll:
- Work with hydraulic design software and integrate it with CAD tools
- Create smart automations to improve workflows across multiple platforms
- Collaborate with an experienced team, applying your knowledge of delivery requirements and QA processes for water engineering projects
- Develop your career in a cutting-edge 3D BIM and CDE environment
As the BIM Coordinator, you’ll also:
- Lead document control across various projects
- Establish CAD and document standards
- Drive efficiency through automation and streamlined processes
- Create templates, workflows, and standard details for the team

You’ll work alongside a vibrant team shaping the future of drainage engineering and collaborating with high-profile clients, including HS2, Network Rail, National Highways, and local authorities.
A Typical Week
- Drawing coordination and data control
- Creation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) for projects
- Ensuring compliance with BIM content standards, execution plans, and project workflows
- Performing CAD quality checks on drawings and documents
- Developing workflows to improve team efficiency
- Creating templates, standard details, and 3D BIM models
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
We’d Love to Hear from You If You Have
- Industry experience in infrastructure, drainage engineering
- A passion for digital technologies, BIM, and continuous improvement
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project delivery skills
- Proficiency in 3D modelling and engineering design coordination
- Ability to challenge and refine engineering detailing
- Experience with BIM standards such as PAS 1192 and BS EN ISO 19650
- Familiarity with EDMS solutions like Bentley ProjectWise or Autodesk BIM360
- Comfort coordinating interdisciplinary information in a 3D environment
- HNC/HND/Degree in engineering or relevant field
