BIM Manager
BIM Manager – Long-Term Contract Opportunity (Until March 2027)
CCL are currently collaborating with a leading public sector organisation to appoint an experienced Building Information Modelling (BIM) Manager for a hybrid, long-term contract role.
The successful candidate will:
- Drive BIM (Building Information Modelling) and AIM (Asset Information Management) implementation across a large, complex property portfolio
- Ensure the effective governance, delivery, and management of digital asset information throughout the project lifecycle
Location & Contract Type
Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days from home) Regional government hub offices: Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Blackpool, or Glasgow
Type of Contract: Indefinite tax-monitoring (inside IR35) End Date: March 2027
Key Responsibilities
- Lead BIM strategy execution across multiple projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Support the development and maintenance of:
- Asset Information Requirements (AIR)
- Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR)
- Digital handover processes
- Manage BIM assurance activities, including:
- Model reviews
- Audits
- Quality validation
- Ensure accurate transfer of digital information into asset and facilities management systems for ongoing operations.
- Promote Common Data Environment (CDE) adoption within project teams and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with:
- Internal stakeholders
- Consultants
- Contractors to drive BIM adoption and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical leadership in:
- BIM standards
- Information management
- Digital delivery methodologies
- Develop BIM KPIs and identify opportunities to enhance digital processes and asset information management.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and BIM-related reports.
- Support on-time, high-quality project delivery while meeting programme and compliance requirements.

Requirements
Essential
- Relevant professional qualification in:
- Construction
- Building Information Modelling
- Engineering
- Architecture
- Related discipline OR equivalent industry experience.
- Proven BIM experience, including:
- Managing BIM strategies in line with BS EN ISO 19650.
- Knowing Asset Information Requirements (AIR), Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR), COBie and IFC data standards.
- Conducting BIM quality assurance, model validation, and compliance reviews.
- Advanced technical proficiency in:
- Autodesk Revit
- Navisworks
- Experience integrating BIM deliverables with:
- CAFM (Computerised Asset/Facilities Management)
- IWMS (Integrated Work Management Systems)
- Other asset management platforms
- Strong understanding of:
- CDE (Common Data Environment) processes
- Digital information governance
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to:
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Previous experience:
- Leading or mentoring BIM professionals
- Guiding digital delivery teams
