BIM Modeller / Coordinator
BIM Coordinator – Rail South, West & Wales Business Unit

About the Role
We are looking for an organised and technically capable BIM Coordinator to support digital delivery across our Rail South, West & Wales Business Unit. This role will help project teams produce accurate, coordinated, and compliant digital information across a range of rail and multidisciplinary projects. You will support information management processes, Common Data Environment (CDE) administration, and digital coordination activities, while continuing to build your experience in BIM, project delivery, and industry standards.
Role Accountabilities
- Support the production and coordination of digital deliverables, including:
- 3D models
- 2D drawings
- Federated models
- Related project information
- Carry out CDE administration and document control activities, including support for:
- MIDPs (Model Information Delivery Plans)
- TIDPs (Technical Information Delivery Plans)
- Information workflows and version control
- Contribute to the application of information management standards and processes, including:
- EIRs (Exploitation and Information Requirements)
- BEPs (BIM Execution Plans)
- ISO 19650
- Arcadis digital principles
- Coordinate inputs across project teams, GEC (Global Engineering Centre) teams, and external partners, supporting:
- Clash detection
- Model federation
- Multidisciplinary delivery
- Provide day-to-day support to:
- Project teams
- Early career colleagues
- Assist in managing:
- Quality
- Risk
- Schedules
- Continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree, apprenticeship degree or equivalent in an engineering, technical, or digital discipline.
- Experience supporting BIM, digital delivery, or information management within a project environment, preferably in:
- Rail
- Infrastructure
- Multidisciplinary design
- Working knowledge of:
- CDEs (Common Data Environments)
- Document control
- MIDPs (Model Information Delivery Plans)
- TIDPs (Technical Information Delivery Plans)
- EIRs (Exploitation and Information Requirements)
- BEPs (BIM Execution Plans)
- Relevant digital delivery or CAD standards, including ISO 19650
- Ability to use 2–3 digital tools confidently for:
- Modelling
- Coordination
- Information management
- Experience with:
- 3D models
- Drawings
- Federation
- Clash detection
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with:
- Awareness of CDM (Construction Design and Management)
- Health and safety commitments
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
