Role Description
As a BIM Specialist within the Structures, Geotechnics and GIS business, you will support the delivery of BIM and Information Management services across a range of mobility infrastructure projects. Working alongside project teams, designers and Information Managers, you will help coordinate digital deliverables, maintain information standards and support the effective use of digital tools and Common Data Environments (CDEs). This role provides an opportunity to develop technical expertise while contributing to high-quality, compliant and efficient project delivery.
Role Accountabilities
- Support the implementation of BIM and Information Management processes in line with project requirements and ISO 19650 principles.
- Assist with the production, coordination and review of digital deliverables, including models, drawings and associated project information.
- Support the administration and day-to-day management of Common Data Environments (CDEs), ensuring information is correctly shared, stored and maintained.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Master Information Delivery Plans (MIDPs) and Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs).
- Coordinate model federations and undertake model reviews and clash detection activities.
- Support project teams in meeting digital delivery requirements and maintaining data quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports and information management records.
- Help develop and maintain BIM standards, templates and guidance materials.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated project delivery.
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing, training and continuous professional development activities.

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience supporting BIM or Information Management activities within engineering, infrastructure or built environment projects.
- Working knowledge of BIM principles and an understanding of ISO 19650 requirements.
- Experience using BIM software such as Revit, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, Navisworks or similar digital delivery platforms.
- Familiarity with Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, ProjectWise or equivalent.
- Understanding of model coordination, information exchange processes and digital delivery workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting project deadlines.
- Degree, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering, digital engineering or built environment discipline.
- Working towards a recognised professional accreditation or BIM-related certification would be beneficial.
