About the Role
Join our team as a BIM Specialist, a pivotal role supporting model production, coordination, and management across our projects.
Acting with minimal supervision, you’ll:
- Ensure models adhere to industry standards and client requirements
- Maintain model health, coordinate clashes, and support deliverables through their lifecycle
- Contribute to BIM reviews, manage external data, and drive process enhancements

This varied role spans partnerships across Hoover Lea, resource management, internal/external BIM meetings, training delivery, and firm-wide BIM initiatives.
Core Responsibilities
- Produce and coordinate models autonomously, checking compliance with standards
- Oversee model coordination, resolving clashes and health issues as they arise
- Review and manage BIM deliverables, changes, documentation, and external models
- Support Model Managers in resource allocation, training and external collaboration
- Contribute to information management, bid support, automation opportunities
- Engage in team culture, firm-wide projects, and internal events
About You
We’re looking for someone who balances analytical rigor with leadership—someone who can:
- Demonstrate proven experience in BIM modelling and coordination within a building services or consultancy environment
- Show a robust grasp of model coordination, deliverables, and BIM health monitoring
- Handle exposure to external models, Common Data Environments (CDE), and related documentation
- Work independently, taking ownership of standard tasks
- Leave meticulous detail and strive for exceptional quality
- Communicate efficiently across cross-functional teams
- Embrace a proactive problem-solving mindset
- Seek process optimization, automation, and industry best-practice adoption
- Support team mentorship, training and knowledge sharing
- Stay updated on BIM advancements and standards
