The role is working individually and as part of the wider team within our clients Waste Management Service Department, undertaking a range of duties to include driving a (3.5 tonne) vehicle, delivering containers (bins and boxes), removal of bins, as well as minor repair of bins where required.

The role is based in York, Monday to Friday, 7.00am - 3.00pm, for a minimum of 3 months, potentially up to 6 months, the rate of pay is £13.86 per hour.
The successful candidate will manage the bin store, ensuring the working environment is kept clean and safe, taking delivery of bins from our client’s external supplier. You will also be required to deliver trade bags to the city centre for our client’s commercial waste customers.
Candidates must have good customer service skills and be able to work independently as well as have the ability and experience to drive a 7.5 tonnes tail lift vehicle. A good knowledge of York would be an advantage.
