Biochemist

Biochemist – AI Data Trainer

About The Role

Your years of biochemistry expertise are more valuable than you think — even outside the lab. We're partnering with the world's leading AI research teams to build smarter, more scientifically accurate AI models, and we need PhD-level biochemists to make it happen.

As a Biochemist AI Data Trainer, you'll challenge, audit, and refine advanced AI systems on topics like protein folding, metabolic flux analysis, enzyme kinetics, and molecular genetics. Your deep domain knowledge is what AI must measure itself against.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role — work on your own schedule, from anywhere.

Organization: [Alignerr]( willingly abbreviation) Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design complex problems across domains like nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, and drug-target interactions to rigorously test AI systems.
  • Author ground-truth solutions — write precise, step-by-step technical solutions serving as AI benchmarks.
  • Audit AI outputs, including biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and quantitative analyses for accuracy, safety, and methodology.
  • Refine AI reasoning — identify flaws in AI logic (e.g., incorrect stoichiometry, misunderstood stereochemistry, faulty enzyme kinetics) and provide structured feedback.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
